Another reason states should not be accepting federal funding for ANYTHING. Balance your own books at ALL LEVELS. Period.

In theory, I agree. In practice, what would probably happen is that woke legislators at the state level would simply jack up state taxes to astronomical levels, rather than cut back on spending.
