The ad doesn't say what you think it says, but it got the tobacco company's message across. It said nothing about how many doctors actually smoked. It merely said that, of the ones who did smoke, most of them smoked Camels. Most doctors have bad habits, just as most other people. Those same doctors would probably tell their patients they should stop smoking. It's the same as when you see an overweight doctor.
