Maybe we can contribute here on this board to create a set of suggested policies/procedures for local Patriots to organize to watch and record drop boxes 24/7, maybe have signs that say "one visit, one ballot" , and "you are being recorded" , etc. Scare the crap out of simpleton mules.
But I am sure someone would get hurt... so, maybe a bad idea? Or, suggest teams of 4-5 with concealed carry?
I don"t know... just spit-balling.
Edit: I realize that voting drop-boxes are stupid to begin with. I'm not THAT stupid. But, here we are in 2022 and they're still being talked about and some "fear" another pandemic that will get them out of storage. And, I understand that voter intimidation could be thrown at us--no shit. So, instead of propping up the roadblocks, where's the creativity on this board to figure out how to circumvent the issues/challenges that have been raised?
Regarding the conceal carry, check your local laws very carefully. In Georgia, it is illegal to carry a weapon within 150ft of a polling location, which is where ballot boxes are located. This includes parking lots and vehicles.
Now, if you had a buddy in the local police or sheriff that you could call, who could make sure there's a unit sitting nearby investigating some unrelated suspicious activity, you may be in business to catch people in the act. Maybe on the 2nd or 3rd trip.
Also, game cameras typically run around $100 for good ones and can camouflage in very well. Check local laws again about whether you're in a One Party Consent state. There should be no expectation of privacy at a public polling location.
