I was reading something awhile ago that Sega took a lot of control away from Takashi Iizuka, and that's why Sonic was sucking ass. It was what "the suits" at Sega thought we wanted.
When Sonic Mania was greenlighted, I heard Iizuka hauled ass to work with that team.
And I thought Sonic Colors Ultimate was the worst mistake SEGA has made yet
I thought practically every Sonic game since SA2 was a mistake next to Mania and perhaps Colors and Generations but I wasn't too hot on those either
