To the (amusing) downvotes, Weinstein was well post-#MeToo's start, and didn't come around because of #MeToo.
#MeToo involved a lot of false accusations treated as fact, and questions to those facts were met with "beLeiVe ALL WaHMeN"
Weinstein happened because he actually did do those things, and there was enough evidence to prove it, and he was in a position of power preying on women.
As someone who saw much of this in the MRA community, I also care. #MeToo is a stain on history.
