I suspect the trial was in DC to prove a point or to gather more evidence. Gave up on Dooming. The DS is screwed. Feelz good, Man.

The trial was in DC because that was the jurisdiction of the “crime”.

Not a lawyer. Could either party seek a change of venue to another district? I expect the military will have their own courts to try and convict some larger figures- like Hillary

Not a lawyer either but as I understand it the defense can request a change of venue but not the prosecution. I’m not positive on that as I haven’t looked into it much.
