I have not followed this case, but talked with a woman who was very anti-Amber and pro-Johnny, as far as the trial is concerned.

Apparently, Amber was recorded saying to Johnny, when he told her she was lying and they were having a private conversation, "What are you gonna do? Tell everybody a WOMAN is abusing you? Nobody will believe you."

Something like that.

IOW, she admitted she was doing shit to him, and thought that because she was a woman, everyone would believe her even though she knew she was lying. She would lie BECAUSE she thought that a woman could get away with it against a man.
