Knighthood stopped meaning anything LONG ago.

It's sort of like the Nobel Peace Prize. After Obama, Al Gore and even Yassir Arafat (head of the PLO) won the Peace Prize... it stopped meaning anything. Now it's just a medal for being a prized monkey.
