Conservatives usually just punish democrats at the state level, but leave them unfettered power at the local level. In even the reddest of states you'll find the school boards occupied by closet leftists who claim they are "non-partisan".

In fact, the Left loves that they have so much power at the local level. State leaders get the blame. Their control of school boards gives enormous ability to steer and influence children.

It has always been this way. Except for a few blips here and there, they have NEVER been challenged over their local control. They have been able to get away with local control because busy families don't pay attention to school boards and town council elections.

This has always been a mistake.

2020 exposed how insane the leftists on school boards were are. Even liberal parents saw it. Schools shut down. School did remote learning. Schools mandated masks. Remote learning showed parents for the first time what their kids were actually being taught. They were the snide comments and manipulation of sociopathic teachers. They saw how evil some of these teachers were. When they complained they saw how evil of the school boards.

Everything is sexual to many of these people. They love sexualizing everything (which is a form of grooming). When we say grooming it doesn't always mean the teacher or school board are sexually abusing the kids. It just means they're weakening the kids barriers and exposing them to sexual stuff which makes the kids easier targets for a real predator.

For the first time the left pissed off parents enough that parents actually turned out in record numbers and voted out hundreds of these school boards. 20,000 school boards will be on the ballot in the midterms. It won't just be a sweep at state level. It'll be a sweep at local. Usually they can survive even red waves, but they won't survive this one.

The lost of local control is a far bigger threat to the left than loss of state. You can see them going nuts to force parents to back off. It's also clear how much they hate parents. You can hear them dripping with rage whenever parents successfully say "No".

They regard the parents as "terrorist" for not letting them indoctrinate kids.

Teachers can be fired by school boards. Several leftists teachers have taken to tik tok to scream that if they can't teach LGBTQ than they don't want to teach at all.

GOP leaders portray the victories as parents rejecting what they call left-wing ideologies — and getting behind the notions that critical race theory is being taught in schools and that children are given access to overly sexualized books. And school board campaign vows to rid schools of critical race theory come after the Texas Legislature last year passed a law limiting how race, the history of slavery and current events are taught in schools. It was dubbed the “critical race theory” bill, even though the legislation never mentioned the term.

Conservatives taking over the local level is a massive threat to the left's agenda. it cuts them off from children. Since few who vote democrat have kids they rely on brainwashing children to get new recruits.

Notice how every time parents demand this stuff be removed the leftists school boards call the cops on them. They try to terrorize and intimidate. They don't change their ways.

The board ultimately voted to keep those books on the shelves, but not before police intervened, escorting several people from the meeting.

They only know how to sneer, mock, threaten, and gaslight. They have no interest in hearing out the other side. They hate parents.

Mid terms at the local level are going to be a massacre. But they still won't change their tune. They believe the higher ups will make more shootings and distractions to force parents back in line.
