Leftists article about "the vide shift". They KNOW something is off. They don't want to admit it. They keep living under the lie that they always get their way, but deep down they know the world is changing.

The old world was one dominated by the mentally ill lunatics (sociopaths and psychopaths) who pretended to be harmless. They formed cells and cults to control the masses, but their control is slipping. The more they try to get back their control of the masses the more they end up exposing themselves. They don't understand how this happened. Why can't they put the sheep back to sleep like they did before.

If the personal level of our lives is filled with fraying personal relationships, the national level is filled with decay. Consider the corrosive pretext of Donald Trump’s entire argument. He never said that the people in power are corrupt and that he should lead instead; that would, at the very least, be an argument for preserving the integrity of the institutions. No, instead, Trump’s core offer was that the very institutions he sought to lead were themselves unworthy of redemption. “Drain the swamp” was not a promise to purify; it was a promise to undo.

They would have preferred Trump had tried to be a dictator of their cult. Instead Trump rejected the cult. He chose the PEOPLE as more worthy to lead than the CULT.

That upsets these narcissists more than anything. That he would think that awakened sheep are far more worthy to run the planet than the CULT.

Trump essentially said, "They are better than YOU".

That everything the CULT made to run the planet is evil and needs to be torn down and rebuilt. The cult believes they are the heroes fighting climate change and overpopulation. They justify what they do in a twisted way.

The good news is that Trump is not currently president. The bad news is that on his way out, he dealt a near-fatal blow to those institutions when he encouraged supporters to “fight like hell” and march on the Capitol. Sure, the system held up and rebuffed Trump’s play. But the cost was deep disarray, a rattled political realm that has not yet fully contended with the image of one president tarnishing the system.

The Cult is starting to realize that their rabid pursuit of getting Trump out of office by any means necessary has blown up in their faces in ways they never anticipated. By being forced to so blatantly cheat they proved Trump's point to the majority of the country that the system is RIGGED against them.

Now the CULT can't seem to get the sheep to trust these institutions again. No matter what crisis they make with the promise that the system will solve it the people remain deeply cynical of everything they say.

Trump won the argument that "The SYSTEM is made to screw you".

This is a poison pill for the CULT who need the Sheep to trust them. All they can do now is try to put out fires. Now that they exposed how much they cheat and rig the system, they have to cheat and rig more to keep what power they have left. They can't win the trust of the sheep back without winning fairly, but that is being made impossible as Trump keeps pushing forward people who are not on the Cult's team (or flipped against them).

Trump keeps forcing them to cheat and openly rig it. They can't let non-cult members win, but that just further ruins that shredded credibility.

They have 3 options:

"Keeping rigging the system and further alienating an already bitter and angry populace"

This option they could use to attempt to push to riots and civil war, but this is not working. They'd also need to ensure they controlled the people leading the civil war. This is failing as they are too exposed.

"Try to trick the populace into trusting the system again*

Failing as well. Trump and his team are not relenting and letting their saboteurs in.

"Allow free and fair elections"

They absolutely won't do because they can't risk even a couple years of a non-cult member in those positions. People might see what it is like to have sane rulers and they can't have that.

If there is comfort to be found in the vague promises to use the pandemic as an opportunity to rethink society — the vows for a “Great Reset,” the pledges to “Build Back Better” — the comfort is immediately undone by the reality that those very vows have been hijacked by anti-science, anti-vaccine, anti-lockdown people to claim baseless conspiracy theories that go as far as suggesting the lockdowns are deliberately designed to speed up economic collapse.

Hahahaha. So we are a serious threat to them.

It’s difficult to imagine how trust in national governments can be repaired. This is not, on the face of it, apocalyptic. The lights are on and the trains run on time, for the most part. But civic trust, the stuff of nation-building, believing that governments are capable of improving one’s life, seems to have dimmed.

Trump took a sledgehammer to people's faith in government and the institution. They can't seem to get it back. They keep insisting that "faith in democracy" is essential. (then don't cheat to win?) They want people to blinding trust THEM And their RIGGED SYSTEM.

Trump isn't allowing it.

So now the rules-based order stands blemished, facing accusations of hypocrisy from its foes and disappointment from those who saw it as a beacon of hope. If liberalism stands for defending freedom everywhere, it sure isn’t eager to show it.

They were so eager to break people's spirits that the most loyal of the DS won'd do jack if they're not paid to do it.

But consider this: For millennials and younger generations, the last couple of years have carried a reordering of life on every level, from the personal to the global. Individual bonds are changing in the midst of a pandemic. The faint promise of a nation you can trust has waned. There is no obvious immediate, or even distant, way back to the systems that governed us and the contracts that bound us before the pandemic. That world, on every level, is gone.

This is true. I notice that they worshipped Obama and the Institution as their daddy government. They were happy to obey. Now they are lost, angry and bitter as its power weakens. It was their protector and their abuser.

This is what you call the law of unintended consequences. The CULT are not as clever as they think they are. They are very good at manipulating people when no one knows what they really are and everyone is dumb and blind. They can plans scripts in advance, but they can't understand when reality doesn't conform to their scrips.

They thought DD Trump out DD We win.

They didn't realize how much they'd destroy their own system when they unleashed the pandemic and cheated like mad. They can't put the toothpaste back in the bottle. They don't know what to do to get sheep to believe them.

The sheep's cynicism towards government is corrosive and toxic to their power. It's eating at their control and power.
