She recently moved to LA. About 5 months ago. She laughed at me when I told her she's making a mistake and that she should stay close to family here in MA (not that we are that much better than California).
Now her brothers are all pretty based patriots as is her father. Her mother is old school non-feminist type. Unfortunately for her, the school system turned her into a leftist during her teenage years.
She drove to NYC to attend BLM rallies and everything. Was right in the middle of the riots in Brooklyn recording everything.
She's no rioter herself and she's a soft little white girl but up until recently, she thought she was some sort of freedom fighter.
Anyway, she gets to LA and at first was sending me all these beautiful pictures of the landscape as she went to trips in the hills and ocean views etc.
But recently, she's been telling me about how bad crime is and she doesn't feel safe at night walking around. How it's filthy and how she's seen bums take a shit right across her street.
She lives just outside of downtown LA in some gentrified hipster area that up until prior to covid was apparently really nice and clean. But now, it's being overrun by homelessness and degeneracy.
So she calls me last night asking me how she can purchase guns in LA quietly. Now I have no fucking clue how so I told her to google it and suggested she get out of LA and find a gun dealer in a based red area to help her out with an AR15 she can use.
She then went on a rant about how disgusting everything and everyone is and how she can't wait for her contract at work to be done so she can, and I quote, "escape this fucking hell hole".
I assume she's gonna come back based af lol
Revolver are much safer for non gun people to use. If you pick it up you can see if it's loaded, and they don't have or need any safety, safties and de-cocking levers make the gun unusable in an emergency. To people who don't train with their weapons... the learning curve on using a revolver is much smaller.
Point and pull the trigger, that all they need to know.
Oh I see what your saying. Yea simple design. It’s only safer because it appears that way. Once a non gun person becomes more familiar with auto’s they soon learn that they will have options for a gun with an actual safety mechanisms to choose from. I was the same when I was younger. Was unfamiliar with auto’s so I went revolver. But after years I was eventually introduced and shown how they work and what not. Now all I use are automatic pistols. But as I said, I still don’t go all safety stuff. We call those California guns.
Been shooting for 40 years,I much prefer revolvers,I did start shooting handguns with a .22 auto and still shoot them today, but that's about it. Revolvers always go boom when you pull the trigger, they shoot just fine,if your elbow isn't locked,so make a much better car/ truck guns.
Oh absolutely, I agree. I actually refer to revolvers as truck guns, lol.
