I swear I can be right about a million things.. and people around me still act like I'm the conspiracy nut and it was 'rational' to believe the news when it was reported despite doing 180's over and over.. But then one thing they always keep asking me is, "How bad are things going to get?" and my answer is always "It will keep getting worse until people like you are pissed off enough to start checking back in and getting involved in how this country works."
I’ve sacrificed and nearly lost myself trying to help others, especially my family. With much disdain to most of humanity, I’ve stopped and pivoted to working on myself. Spending more time outdoors, training even harder to improve my mental and physical strength.
I haven’t completely stopped, but I sure understand where you’re coming from. The mental pretzels that people will go through to hang on to their normieness is mind boggling.
Also, I meant stopped as in, the numerous activities I was involved with. In the process of pivoting ad redirecting energy, I am also looking for opportunities and actions more significant than I was involved with before.
That sounds like a good strategy to me. It's been good for me to remember messages like yours and similar ones that other GAW pedes have posted along the way. This community helps in more ways than I can count.

I have a family visit coming up soon and I'm real worried how that's going to be.
