To think there was a time in our nation's recent history where you could just set up a homestead, and live there, and be free. How on earth did we become so easily shackled?
To be honest with you, I think most of us are shackled by our own perception of how things are. I'm constantly learning about how I misunderstood something or how I was never taught it to begin with.
Like food production. I wasn't aware that I could grow anything substantial on my property because of how small it is, but it ends up that I have more than enough space to feed my family and then some
