Unhappy hubby

Pedes, I need some help. Hubs has severe peripheral neuropathy of feet. Has had for years, probably decades. Two days ago he stepped on hot asphalt barefooted and didn’t even realize he had second degree burns. Not until I noticed a sticky trail on my hardwood floors with blood in it. I’m treating with horse paste and bandages. I need some advice about some great patriotic movies to keep him settled once I have him sofa bound. Thanks!
Yes, oil pulling that was the term. Thank you, fren. I love coconut oil, since I have seen what it did for my father. He was suffering a lot because with parkinson you sit and lie a lot and there where the open wound.
It also helps with alzheimer's which is one of the reasons why I use it. My dad died of that and I don't want to go that way! I often use calendula salve to cover oils when I use them topically as this holds them in place and keeps them from evaporating so quickly.
Oh yes, calendula is also so very good for healing wounds, thank you for reminding me.
And yes, I read about the healing properties of coconut oil for the brain, also for parkinson, but I did not found a good way that my father would like to eat or drink it. So I researched and found other things. Try also Greek Verbenna = Sideritis (yes, only the original from Greece!) it is also very good to treat Alzheimer.
"German research on Greek mountain tea, also known as verbena and Tsai TouVounou, has emphatically shown that it can prevent or even reverse Alzheimer's disease, a degenerative and debilitating mental illness that now affects many elderly people around the world.
Two years earlier, a study by the well-known Alzheimer's researcher Professor Jens Pahnke - the so-called Alzheimer's hunter - had shown in mice that daily treatment with a sideritis extract dissolves and improves the animals' memory performance. "
