I think it actually is satire, intended to make normal people and even trans-sympathetic people reject it. If this isn't jumping the shark, it's just not possible.

I mean, the author was probably forced to write it by an editor, and the editor or whoever gave the instruction has to know this is insanity with an added, viscerally grotesque, jolt. This fits with the concept of warp speed being the plan to drive the lefties so far left that nobody can follow.
