Just think back on some of the people you enthusiastically voted for because you actually thought they were good Americans and would make a difference.

Like: George Bush and his son. McStain, Romney, and thinking "wow that Paul Ryan is great. He will be president one day. How about when John Kasick was maybe first on your list of presidential candidates, he was first on my list until Trump got to rolling.

As far as our naivety I think you'd agree we are must smarter than we used to be.
