My wife insists that the queen doesn't want to be seen in a wheelchair because it would show weakness.

I think there is merit to this argument, but I also think that on balance, the queen is ded and they put some sort of double on the balcony for a few minutes.

full disclosure, I haven't watched any balcony footage.
