To keep it short and to the point, I normally drink between 1-2 gallons of filtered water every single day. It's either sourced from my fridge with a good water filter, or in the 5 gallon jugs you pickup.
I've noticed for the last few days, maybe 3-4, that the water "feels" different. It's hard to explain, but to try and get my point across the best I can, it feels "sharper" and has a very slight tingle on the sides of my tongue. It almost feels electrified in a way, if that makes sense.
Am I the only one?
It's very odd to me, and it's not something that I "just picked up on" as i've always been a very heavy water drinker, and nothing else has changed in how i'm getting it/using it. I would have noticed this a long time ago.
Come on man what kind of thread is this?
You don't tell us where the water is sourced from, and you didn't even get a common water quality testing kit to double check it?
Did you at least make sure your filters are current and in good condition?
You are telling me that filtered water is suddenly making your tongue tingle? I don't mean to be mean, but maybe you should visit the doctor?
I can't edit it to add more information.
It's city water from two different cities. One is coming from filtered water from my home fridge ( I change the filters out every 3 months, the last time it was changed was a month ago) and the other is coming from a water dispenser with a water jug. The source of that, I'm assuming is also city water, and have no way of checking their water filter.
It's strange, it's almost the same feeling as what carbonation does, but very slight and only on the sides of my tongue.
It's a crazy post, I know, but this is really strange to me. I'm testing both water sources this weekend, and if I find anything out of the ordinary, I'll follow back up. I don't agree with this being stickied, it was an odd question to ask.
I see, yah you should do an edit and put some of this info in the main post given it was stickied.
Because it was the fear that got buying filters myself. Normally city water in my region has been very good, and tests came back clean, but I worry constantly that a lets politely call it a "political hire" as a lead in the Water Q deparment could result in them not getting the treatment right.
We've been seeing that out of the governments since the socialist, leftist take over, even city level, way too much, they hire somebody based on how many alphabet letters they match rather than their job skills. Its bad enough when its administrative job, but water quality is extremely scientific, very difficult to get right, and when done wrong the whole city is poisoned.
And I would rather not find out after the fact I've been drinking heavy metals that will stick in my bones for the rest of my life.
Unfortunately it's impossible to edit the post. I'm not sure when this was changed, but I can click edit all I want, but nothing happens.
I didn't make this post to try and make Q connections, I just had a question about this, and if anyone else has noticed the same thing or not. I agree that it shouldn't have been stickied, as it does come off as crazy talk, but I cannot change that now lol.
That's odd. I know the title is uneditable, but I edited the text of one of my posts just a couple of weeks ago.
Maybe a java script disabled issue or something?
It's not crazy and it IS q related.
We have never known what "watch the water" means, and Q warned that some posts have multiple meanings. Thanks for sharing - something new to ponder!
Good night patriot!
