For what it's worth, this is still a pretty good representation of some towns in Texas, High school football is still the king where I live. We don't follow the woke pro's anymore, but we follow our high school teams religiously.
I’ve always heard about the Texas football following and think it’s great. I’m in Eastern NC & the high school football is still popular among the town’s people. Nothing compared to Texas!
The local News sports caster had a long running Football Friday episode. This guy was fun to watch even if you didn’t follow sports. Tom Suiter of WRAL news really supported the local kids.
Unfortunately teenager sex, drinking and drugs is real. Most parents don’t have a clue what their kids are doing. Speaking from experience, everyone I knew was wide open including myself.
One of the few TV shows I followed and have on DVD. One of the seasons was weird (writer's strike) but a good show overall. (I don't even like football, ha.)
