Watch a YouTube video "Back to Eden". Heck with this way you hardly ever have to water. Compost is your friend and mulch is free from tree companies. Don't turn your back on gardening because you have sandy soil. Back to Eden teaches you how to turn poor soil into something which plants love. I've done it on very rocky ground in the Ozarks and in two months my corn is 2' tall. If now I can keep the darn deer out of the garden.........
