No shit. My eight year old grandkids handle an AR just fine and laugh and giggle when they are done. My 5'2, 110 pound wife loves shooting an AR. Recoil? Bwhahahahaha. He should try shooting my .50 cal Hawkens. It might send him to the ground, a quivering mass of soy. I was shooting the Hawkens at 10.
