The NPC brings up the question about her right to choose. She has the right to choose her own destiny. She has the right to engage in unprotected sex or not. She has the right to prevent a pregnancy. She has the right to stop the conception with the morning after pill, if she engaged in risky or unprotected sex. She has the right to seek medical assistance in areas that allow it. Her ignorance or stupidity to allow a conception to gestate into a fetus or a fully developed baby in the womb does not exculpate her from being held accountable for her actions. I personally don't think that abortions should be illegal within the first trimester. I believe that within 3 months, a woman can decide whether to continue through with the pregnancy or not. After that, I think that it may be questionable as to whether or not it should be allowed. I'm not a physician and I am not firm on the first trimester, I just don't want to see women that are young and foolish engaging in questionable medical practices that cause death or severe illness from back alley abortionists. This is just my personal opinion and it can be changed with more in depth analysis and information.
