I guess they just underestimated the sudden rise in demand.

In recent years there were only 4 billion women and now there are 8 billion! Life is getting very complicated.

Well, yes. Last year only half the rest rooms needed machines which would dispense the products under discussion but now every rest room needs them. Requirements have doubled.
