Look into your pantry. Count how many meals you have available should all the grocery stores close their doors today. One meal of spaghetti will consist of at least a pound of ground beef and a can of spaghetti sauce. One meal for a family. Now, think about three meals a day. How many meals do you have in your house, right now? If you cannot feed your family for a month or longer, why? Do you think this country is going to get put onto the right track in the next few months? Do you want to bet your children's empty stomachs on that non-guarantee? What happens if Trump does not come back, DeSantis's plane crashes on a quick hop to the Keys and the US Capitol is attacked by whomever during a State of the Union Speech. In one short day all food security could be washed away and the only thing available to you is what you currently have in your kitchen cabinets. All I'm trying to do is to get folks to start planning on getting food while it is still available. Plant some corn and beans in the back yard, and make friend with your neighbors so you can begin trading if the need arises. If this country goes sideways we all will be tossed back intot he 1800's real quick. Are you ready or even been thinking about it? God bless.

Well,if you wouda' prepared like I told you;last year!
I've been prepping for over eight years. Have lots of canned chicken with 2014 dates on them. Have finally seen the light of my teachings getting through to some nephews and nieces plus a SIL. It takes a while plus an economic downturn to get people motivated, but I saw this coming when Barry was in office. That spurred me to begin prepping. Glad I've got a lot of knowledge in book form to rely on when the electricity goes down. Peace on, bro.
Rock on! Make sure to stock up on ammo,ya' just never know what the hell these dems are going to demonize next!
Make sure to have "food ammo" too. Copper jacketed 22lr and FMJ for hanguns and steel shells for shotguns. And maybe buy a book of field dressing/butchering wild game. The Lord provided plenty of food before geocery stores were a thing.
Damn good thinking! Thanks!
Properly stored, unopened canned chicken will generally stay at best quality for about 3 to 5 years, although it will usually remain safe to use after that.
2014 was 8-years ago. It's WAY beyond the expiration date.
It may still be safe to eat, but maybe not. Time is ticking away.
At this point, the canned chicken would either be a desperation food (when nothing else is available) or a good dog food.
