What is this thread all about?
Just a place for general discussion. A place to unload whats on your mind and talk about anything - personal, health, help needed, achievements, daily highs and daily lows, theories, predictions and what have you.
Does not need to be Q related.
I’m not sure how long you’ve had your injury, but I have a similar story maybe.
I had a collapsed foot. I could still walk on it and it didn’t hurt that bad, but it was bad. Overtime I know it would affect my hips and my knees. But I just kept putting off having the reconstructive surgery.
When I was in Hawaii in March, I broke my ankle, and had to come home early. I finally had the surgery at the end of April. I’ve been nonweightbearing for six weeks, and just now learning how to walk on my foot again.
It’s been a huge pain in the ass, but I’m grateful now that I finally did it. Once everything heals up I won’t have to worry about it again. It’ll be done and over with.
If you’re truly worried about the world falling apart in the future, you may want to have your knee fixed now. At least you’ll be prepared to move quickly if you need to in the event SHTF.
However everybody has to make these decisions in their own time. I pray that the Lord will guide you in what you need to do next. I just wanted to encourage you, or nudge you in a direction that might help you to get The surgery over with, so you can get on with your life.
I appreciate it! I think I will try the brace as long as I can. It will show how much my hip was affected, too. It's a short term fix.
Yeah that was my biggest concern about not getting my foot done. Eventually it affects your knee or your hip. I do not want to have replacement. My mom‘s had two, and the first one was horrific. So I opted for the foot surgery instead. Lol God bless you have a great night
