I feel perplexed about how the red wave will really turn out. Trump was elected to end the bullshit in dc yet was fought at every angle as much from the red as the blue. Time has shown us that it’s not a battle simply against elected officials but even a deeper battle against career administrators. My concern is we have these historic wins in deep blue areas only to be lost as the new elected officials sink into a quagmire of obfuscation and outright sabotage from the blue clerks, secretaries etc that will remain. Most of which will have a shitty look and attitude in their faces the whole time. We’ve seen this: think Trump and Elon with twatter.
Thoughts?
When I look at the battle, it really is not a battle of red vs. blue, it is a battle of good vs. evil. And there is good and evil on both sides and in each person. To me, it feels like the two-minute clock has just started and evil is raising the stakes and setting discretion aside to make a full on frontal assault on every aspect of society. Having spent almost seven decades here, I am assured that the only remedy is for people to recognize their dependence on the one who created them and this world and turn to serving those around them, instead of focusing on money, power, status or comfort. Just my thoughts.
We are in a "1000 Front War". One election, one battle will not get us where we need to be. We MUST not only fight but resolve to fight for the rest of our lives. Only when each individual stands up from behind their keyboard and takes on their full role and responsibility as a citizen will our dreams be fulfilled.
This is true, but it is also true that to win a war, eventually you have to start winning battles. It's good to have a win, however small it may be in the long run.
Hopefully, this is the start of us stacking W's in many, many small and large battles moving forward.
We didn't get into this cesspool overnight and we won't get out overnight. Depending on your metrics it has been 90 years (FDR), 110 years (Wilson) or possibly 158 years (Lincoln) to erode our country. We need not take 100 years to undo the mess but weaning people from dependency is not something that can be done in only one election. This is a multi-generational fight. We must fight, and we MUST start with our children to fight beside us and to continue the fight after us.Remember Reagan's quote - We are only one generation away....
When I look at this election cycle, it comes down to one and one thing only...have the white hats brought down the election steals yet, or are we yet to endure another two plus years watching our country be systematically destroyed. I believe the former, as the rate it is currently happening (the fucksters had to accelerate the timeline of their plan) it will be over sooner than that...
