Okay so I've started to feel a bit torn on this...
Seeing the way that liberals are raising their children, forcing them into a life full of leftist activism, sexual grooming, transgender ideology etc- do we really want these people to be having more children?
Is it more compassionate to have the childs life end, rather than live a life full of abuse and/or neglect from shitty parents?
I'm definitely not in support of late term abortion, regardless of circumstances.
I do think as a society we need to think a little further down the road when it comes to this topic. Of all of the women I know who have had abortions, not a single one of them is even remotely fit to be a parent.
Idk. Maybe the whole mass sterilization via vaccination idea isnt so bad 😬
I genuinely would love nothing more than for every child born to be properly loved and protected, for every mother and child to have everything they need to thrive.
Unfortunately, we dont live in a society that is conducive to that.
For me personally, abortion was never something I would even consider.
My eldest child was fathered by an extremely abusive man, who raped me, beat me, imprisoned me. Even still, the idea of killing my baby was never an option. My mother and a handful of family members thought I was insane.
Our lives have been full of struggle and hardship, and there have been moments where I wondered if I made the right choice. Ultimately, I believe I did. And in spite of all of the hardships we have survived. Though the trauma of not having a father is something he is forced to live with his entire life and has had undeniable detrimental effects to his development.
I had some supoort from family, and have a strong constitution and will to survive without which things could have been very bad.
Not everyone has these things. Many women are without familial support, already struggling themselves, not mentally capable of the responsibility of child rearing. It's an incredibly difficult duty and for the most part the existence of community, the proverbial village, does not exist as it once did.
While I do not personally support abortion, I also do not have any answers for a viable alternative and have yet to see anyone on the pro-life side of things offer up any sort of solution or hope for those women who would be made to carry and birth a child.
How many of the children will end up being sold into child trafficking? How many will end up living on the streets? How many will be abused in one form or another? How many will starve? How many will die from lack of medical care?
Culturally this is a much larger issue than simply "pro life" or "pro choice"
This is a symptom of a very sick society that does not value human life beyond empty sentiments and moral outrage.
"Save the children! But once they leave the womb you're on your own!"
What does that look like for our society? Where do they all go? Who pays for them? How do we ensure they are properly cared for, loved, protected, housed and fed?
You offer no solution to millions of babies being born to parents who dont want them, cant afford to house or feed them, and will not have the ability to love or protect them.
Seriously. Give me even a simple outline of a solution to this predicament.
I'm not hugely swayed one way or the other, but I've yet to see any sort of solution from the pro-life crowd as to how these babies and their mothers will be cared for. Most of the pro-life crowd I have interacted with are also very anti social services and welfare programs.
So they want these babies to be born, but give zero fucks about what happens to them after birth? It makes no sense.
We take away their ability to have abortions, they make millions of children who are all put on hormone blockers and their genitals removed and sent to be groomed at drag story time and then grow up to become demented abusers themselves.
Idk. Maybe this is a eugenics program that'll eventually work out in our favor.
Won't even get that far. story time fans are getting arrested and exposed as child porn addicts and pedos, blockers are considered child abuse in several states and more are following suit.
The transgender movement is stalling out already in many places. In a few more years it'll even be illegal again in some places.
Why pander to murdering children? Your argument falls flat on the face of it. There is no justification for genocide.
I work with clients every day who spent their entire childhood being molested and abused by mentally ill parents. They all wish they had never been born.
Sometimes saving a life is anything but. If we are weighing the cost of suffering, I'm not sure the scales always tip in the direction you think they do.

I understand this and appreciate the sentiment.

The "killing kids is good" argument. Interesting take.
So say all of these women have these babies.
What does that look like for our society? Where do they all go? Who pays for them? How do we ensure they are properly cared for, loved, protected, housed and fed?
You're right, genocide is the only reasonable answer.
You offer no solution to millions of babies being born to parents who dont want them, cant afford to house or feed them, and will not have the ability to love or protect them.

Not even gonna dignify that with an answer. As a parent I think you can answer that for yourself.
