@LaurenWitzkeDE The actual total is over 10000 from multiple feedlots. Theses animals were Black Angus mostly full weighted animals. Angus cattle do not do well in the high heat. Feedlots located in hotter regions usually have shade covers for their animals. These feedlots did not have shade covers. The excessive heat in the Kansas area was unusual and the cause of death. This is not the first time for these types of tragedies. Nothing sinister here!

I could track down the feedlot with my contacts in the industry, but why don't you do it, if you can, and learn something!!!. There are plenty of real issues of concern for those of us who love this country. I don't believe in getting side tracked and taking a headline off of the news and building into something that its not.
