I was/am part of that group. It was just an informal effort that doctors Cowan and Kaufman followers took part in. Part of this group were also "germ supporters" who were desperate to support the "germ theory" model. Our research was simply to locate, in all the annals of our historic "scientific research", examples of human-to-human transmission of disease - in multiple countries I might add. US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Canada, etc.
Your next questions are good, and unfortunately, you're likely not going to like the answers. As far as animals go, I have done little or no research in this area. I certainly know about Pasteur's "anthrax" with the European sheep. This was caused by the "sheep dip" used at the time as an insecticide. It's primary ingredient was arsenic. So the "anthrax" is the result of bacteria clearing the arsenic out of their systems.
I also know "rabies" is a complete fraud. Pasteur killed thousands with his "rabies vaccine", even though less than 50 allegedly "dies of hydrophobia" every year before he came on the scene. Further, nobody was able to even "see" a so-called virus in his lifetime. Not until the mid-1930s, with the creation of the electron microscope could something so small could be seen. So the only thing he discovered was a new way to poison people.
Regarding humans, like "colds/flus" in the same household, the answer is both simple and infuriating depending on how you perceive it. Both are caused by a "stink conflict", meaning the person figuratively says "this stinks" to something in their life (in this case, "This stinks that my husband/wife/child has the flu"). The other members of the family then have their own psychological stink conflicts when their family members are sick. The difference between a cold and flu is the difference between the intensity and duration of the stink conflict. What's happening is your body is blocking your nasal passages and lungs to prevent them from LITERALLY smelling something that stinks!! Your psyche cannot distinguish between your FIGURATIVE thoughts and LITERAL reality. And further, the psyche, which controls your entire body, has no sense of "time". It goes into action immediately to protect you from the perceived threat. As an example, The "fear of death" activates what we call "lung cancer" immediately, as your psyche generates new lung alveoli to ensure you're getting enough oxygen (as the quickest way to die is due to lack of oxygen).
And the other tricky one is "chicken pox". The first child to get the pox is suffering a "separation conflict", almost always from his/her mother. This is why chicken pox almost always appears in kindergarteners and first graders here in the west. In other cultures that don't send children off to public schools, there are no cases of chicken pox. The harder part of understanding this one is of course how other kids can get it at a "chicken pox party". We vastly underestimate the power of our minds, especially a child's mind that has yet to have been fully indoctrinated into false beliefs. Because the child BELIEVES they're going to get the chicken pox, some are able to manifest it. They too feel "separated" and "scared" about the whole event as well. And the same is true for measles - also a separation conflict in young children first separated from their primary caregiver for many hours of the day. You'll find that it's usually the first child to get chicken pox or measles, that takes the longest to "heal". Most of the other children are over it in 2-3 days.
The bottom line is, we underestimate the power of our mind and body to a massive degree. I believe that virtually all diseases are caused by psychosomatic origins. You name it - cancers, degenerative diseases, skin disease, heart disease, diabetes, rashes, auto-immune diseases, etc. The surprising part of this is that your psyche is making bodily changes in order to assist you with managing the psychosomatic conflicts being entertained in the mind. Many are unavoidable based on our primitive survival instincts (food, water, territorial, nesting, identity, grouping instincts, etc.). But once you understand the nature of disease, which is almost always a "healing" or "restoration" process, you come to see how your psyche was trying to help you survive during a period of psychological conflict. When you get over the psychological conflict, your body returns itself to homeostasis, and this is what we've been indoctrinated into believing is a "disease" that "must be gotten rid of".
I'm sure you won't find my explanations satisfying, such is the nature of this radical departure from the orthodoxy and my general experience when first introducing these ideas to somebody new. I find the fastest and easiest way to convince somebody is to address a current or recent disease you've had. Once you see the correlation between your conflict and the disease, you'll be sold. You have my money-back guarantee on that! :)
Thanks for asking your questions and being curious.
this is a really interesting reply/been thinking about our thoughts a lot. reminds me of President Trump and the Power of Positive Thinking; we need to gain control of our mind. change our reality.
Yes indeed. Becoming aware of the thoughts pouring through your mind is the first step toward permanent joy and liberation. Once you start to see them on a regular basis, soon you'll be able to ignore them (monkey mind).
The psychosomatic unexpected event that kicks off a "dis-ease" process is unavoidable however. We all get caught off guard sometimes. The key is to understand when this happens, that there is no value in continuously ruminating over it for weeks/months/years afterward. What's done is done. But most people continue to relive the experience, feeling guilt, shame, worry, sadness, anger, resentment, vengeance, etc. all the time. This extends the conflict's duration, as the body continues during this process to make adjustments to the organs/tissues/bones/etc. to assist. The longer this goes on, the longer the healing/restoration process takes.
Most things we call dis-eases occur AFTER the psychological conflict is resolved, as the body returns itself back to the way it was prior to the unexpected event. Chronic diseases occur when there is an inability to get over the conflict. The lack of acceptance/allowance/forgiveness holds the bodily changes in perpetual limbo.
Thanks for your comments. This is hard for most to even entertain, let alone consider as a possibility.
