The law says that no one can be held civilly/criminally liable for the death of a child as long as it was a result of something that happened 'in utero' --- even if the baby dies AFTER birth (the 'perinatal period').
A small wording change supposedly fixed the 'infanticide' loophole, but it does not prohibit the following scenario:
- A few days before birth, the mother has a procedure (or takes a drug) that intentionally destroys the baby's lungs.
- The baby will survive through birth (because it is being oxygenated by the umbilical cord), but will not survive outside the mother's womb -- it has no (working) lungs.
- Now they can 'compassionately' keep the baby alive for a short time while they harvest organs from a full-term child (the most profitable kind).
- Plus they can dissect the baby 'easily', more 'completely', and on an operating table instead of the (more difficult) 'in utero' procedure.
And everything just described would be perfectly LEGAL.
Does anyone think these ghouls wouldn't dream up this (or some similar) process?
They (effectively) kill the child after birth, but because the action took place 'in utero' they cannot be prosecuted. They even get the satisfaction of watching it struggle.
Once that practice became 'the norm', the law might be challenged --- but because it has already become the norm, it will be fiercely defended.
At the very VERY least, the wording should be changed to say that no one will be 'legally protected' unless they were making a good-faith effort not to harm the child.
Note: I am not a doctor, and they may need to 'attack' something other than the lungs, but the concept is the same: they can 'shield' themselves from liability by 'disabling' the baby in utero, while still allowing the baby to come full term.
Note: I am also not a lawyer, and I would be happy to learn that I read this new law incorrectly. Please prove me wrong.

Legaling abortion has been one of the gravest mistakes our country has ever made. That success has ushered in gay and trans agendas and has furthered destroyed our families, schools, and our society. It knows no bounds and is never content to remain static, rather pushing their evil out in the open, ever more bold and in your face. It is the leaven that God warns us about and we have accepted this evil, step by step. I really don't believe we can be considered a Christian nation anymore. God forgive us. Repealing Roe vs. Wade would be a start but at this point it would unleash much destruction since we are dealing with such evil, demon possessed people. God help us to right this wrong and to take bold steps to repent and turn from our wicked ways.
