It was conjectured long ago that if you eliminate section 8 housing that a lot of crime, gun violence and drug overdose would decrease rapidly.

Of course there was pushback to the idea of eliminating section 8 housing as inhumane.

But having people live in these shitholes and unable to escape this cycle of cradle to grave .gov support is way more inhumane.
