Thats a great take, and one that we should all understand.
I've been at this since the late 90s post service. I'll give my take as they both align.
I backed Ron Paul and thought he was the man to clean up Washington. A true principled constitutionalist who wanted to end the fed, believed in free markets, limited G.
In hindsight, had he won, he'd have been eaten alive by the swamp.
What I did learn from that time, is everything starts from the ground up, and grass roots. We mobilized like no other, had money bombs to help fun his campaign, ran for local offices and tried to take over in positions that would matter in the future.
We witnessed vote fraud back then (diebold), saw the MSM label him a fringe candidate, yet he had more money than McCain, we saw him get treated like Trump, but to a lesser degree. (He was a threat, but easily disposed of).
The tea party got hijacked, RP got old, but we've gotten to this point because of the work that was done.
I dont think we get a 45 with out RP waking up my generation (X). We are greater in numbers now, more are awake, a much younger base, and its up to us to put in the work again!
It's up to us! It's always been up to us! Be the change we want to create! Grass roots, ground up is where it all starts. Garbage in = Garbage out. We need to take over and conquer from within.
If we sit back and wait for the mil to save us, that's a short sighted easy approach, because it requires no effort from we the people.
Do what you can in your area, run if you have the time. (I've done it locally as well) if you don't win (I didnt) don't give up! We have more power and influence than we realize.
You're 100% spot on.

This is the way.
Top grade comment.
