Having spent some time in a cell I can assure you that someone like Ms Gold is quite capable of doing 60 days standing on her head, without food, in solitary, blah blah etc etc. Like I said... 60 days is nothing. The trust me was meant as a subtle way of saying I know from personal experience without having to detail the ways in witch the system has totally fucked me over in the past.

Our legal system has been utterly and completely broken for 3-4 decades now. Trust me... :) I know.

You ever seen that meme that says they came for my neighbor and I did nothing because I'm not XYZ... goes through a few cycles... then they came for me and there was no one left to help me. Well that's what has been happening in the legal system. They've been abusing people for decades and everyone just turned a blind eye because they can't be bothered.
