Farben means colors. It was a dye making concern once upon a time. The English burned coal in every home and all the coal ash accumulated in mountains of refuse. They paid Germany to haul it off where those clever Krauts disassembled and reassembled the chemicals in the coal trash into dyes, fertilizers, medicines, etc. etc. This unfortunately led Germany to consider themselves superior, (again) and here we are. IG Farben along with Agfa, Bayer and many others have been around since long before Hitler. BTW Zyklon B was a delousing powder. Did they use it to kill? Did they expend precious fuel to incinerate? I wasn’t there, I can’t know for sure. Winners write history and USSR won, so who really knows? I had a Hungarian friend, an old man who lived through it tell me it’s not like you see on TV, but what he really meant, idk. There’s only one “narrative” I believe. Christos Anesti!
