I've noticed over the years a 'news' cycle, in which a rather sudden 'appearance' of experts espousing the 'flat earth' "reality" are published until it is beat down by commentators, then the subject matter disappears only to appear later for another cycle with new heads leading it. This is what I believe is a form of AgiProp that serves to recruit useful idiots, discredits the website and acts as plausible deniability for the website's real purpose. The websites are IMHO paid CIA/FBI fronts. When those outrageous articles are shared on sites like GAW, it has a way of staining the whole as a 'conspiracy theory' website and spreading 'misinformation'. It all comes back to William Casey's statement and the question -- Cui bono?
