This is what I believe too - Lindell is one part of a major op going on right now. Think of the court jesters in plays - injected into the story to add valuable info/clues via well timed asides. Jester's 'role' has little to do, actively, with outcome of the tale but the story lacks a lot of intricacy without his additional info.. Same role as for Sidney P, Rudy, Bannon, etc. Idk what to think about Lin Wood though.. He crazy.
