Then the anxiety will be multiplied exponentially every time the kid walks out the door. There's also never a guarantee the kid will love the parent, or stick with them for life. There's also no guarantee that the parent will love the kid unconditionally.

I don't really care that people down vote me. If you already have a lot of anxiety about having kids in the future, then don't have any. There's probably lots of kids in the foster system looking for homes.
