Blood 'magic' is some weird stuff. You want me to write you a novel here in the comments?
The Cliff's notes first might suffice.
Here's the skimmy:
A Man is known to the Universe in three ways. Body, Mind, and Soul.
Body is what we deal with all day, every day, so I'm sure you have an idea about that.
Mind is the thing in your head that comes up with ideas, provides an inner monologue, permits you to see pictures in your "mind's eye" and gets songs stuck in your head.
Soul is... Well, experience. Have you ever gotten goosebumps for no reason, deja vu, or cried during something beautiful or tragic? That's Soul. If you know, you know. It's what you've done in the World as well as what the World's done to you. We are all married to the World, and proof of the Soul manifests as our wedding ring, in the form of a Silver Tether.
Each of those manifest in 3 and 7 offshoots.
For example, you could say there are 7 Chakra's of the Body, but Three Key components. Cornerstones, if you will.
Body is made up of Flesh, Blood, and Vitality (Physical Spirit, there are many names for it, but I'm going with Vitality because JoJo).
Flesh without Blood is said to be the Bread. Blood without Flesh is said to be the Wine. Vitality is the Child of Flesh and Blood, which binds them into a Trinity. The Eucharist is modeled after this Alchemical Principle and the Alchemical Principle is modeled after the Eucharist -- hence they are Con-Substantial.
Blood IS movement. It's life-force. It carries your signature, while Flesh is the page. When you write upon the parchment of life with your Spiritual ink, you prove your Vitality, or Willpower and Resolve, to the Universe.
I AM.
In that way, Blood can be seen as a currency -- a Key to open the Lock of the Flesh. We cannot barter flesh, but we can barter Blood.
Which means Blood can be stolen; Life Force, can be stolen.
This is the importance of Blood to the Occult. The most pure Blood is like a Key which does not bind the tumblers. Child blood is the purest of all, because it is rife with Infinite Potential to write any story upon the blank slate of Flesh. By viciously defiling the Flesh of a child, you free the Blood to wander for a clean host. Once drained from the child, you can profanely add passages to your own story using their Blood; their Creative Essence.
It's not "youth" that they obtain from the child sacrifices. It's VITALITY. Willpower. The Ethereal essence necessary to Create. Create yourself; Create the World; Create from nothing.
Invention, innovation, and discovery. Stolen from the Blood of Children. Stored in the form of a Gold Powder and further refined in the womb of the Sacred Alembic, the Holy Grail, into what Alchemists call The Philosopher's Stone -- Identical to the first stone Man raised above his head as the First Hammer, the First Tool.
Before the Hammer was borne into the world by the Hand of the Golden Man, the Universe knew it not. Afterwards, all Creation would bow to the Authority of the Universal Gavel.
The Three Keystones of the Mind are Conscious (Sun), Subconscious (Moon), and the Individual (Earth).
Again, the theming is fractal in nature. One always is the Body, one is Mind, and the last is Soul. Father, Mother, Child.
The Conscious is always active when we are awake. The Subconscious pops in occasionally, even when awake, but rules the Night with many Dreams. The Individual weighs Reality (derived from the Conscious) and Fantasy (derived from the Subconscious) and makes Decisions which form the ever-changing Mortal Soul.
Then there are the 7, which I call "Voices"
Voices are to the Mind what Chakras are to the Body. Voices are Within, Chakras are Without.
Personally, I can account for at least four "Voices" in my head, though I suspect there are 7, in keeping with the number of Seraphim who hover and advise God above the Throne in Heaven.
While I have personified them all, they are all still "ME." Just facets of me, like different planes which make up a carefully-cut precious gem.
The ones I can pick out are:
Inner Monologue, the one who lets you speak to yourself.
Mind's Eye, the one which allows you to recall or see that which is not.
Perfect Pitch, the one who can replay music only you can hear.
The Critic, the one who plays the Devil's Advocate to the Inner Monologue so that you may form True thoughts.
The other three I am still pondering. We all can hear their voices, but only a few have named them all. A potential Fifth I'm still trying to determine is separate from the Critic is the Poet.
Most can easily test this one out.
Open the Bible, and start reading. As you read, do you ever trail off in thought, still scanning the pages but retaining none of the meaning?
What voice took you away from the dull repetition of scouring text line-by-line?
I'd wager it's the wandering Poet, or the Daydreamer.
There is a way to silence him, however.
Crack open the Bible again, and start reading. This time, however, speak gibberish as you do. It may take a few tries, but as you Speak in Tongues, you'll find the Poet won't interrupt you again.
This is why I'm conflicted. If the Poet won't come out when you're speaking in tongues or Gibberish, then what's keeping him preoccupied?
Could it be that the Poet IS the Voice, or humble interpreter, of Tongues?
That's where I'm at on the matter.
If that is indeed the Fifth, I can only wonder in amazement what other two Voices might provide in terms of Human ability. I suspect the Sixth might be the Choirs in Heaven and your Guardian Angel and the Seventh, appropriately, is the Voice of God -- the Word of the Divine Spark.
That Seventh might very well be the one who inspires these stints of rambling, because I sometimes reread what I've written and have a "whoah, I wrote that?" moment.
It's sad though... Some people don't have an inner monologue, and even rarer is the one who has no Mind's Eye. I knew an artist in College who claimed she could not visualize in her mind. Honestly, she probably became an artist on account of a fascination of something she could never understand fully.
Rubber Ross from the Game Grumps fame on YouTube lacks a Mind's Eye...
I'm not sure, ultimately, it means for the state of their souls... Did God simply not grant them such wondrous abilities? I believe intimately that the lack of an ability actually promotes a more potent Creative outcome as often times Infinite Choice results in Procrastination. When you're limited in what you can do, it's clearer what you CAN do because some avenues you may otherwise get lost in are simply closed off.
Oh well. That's the Mind as I know it. Still much more to explore and Ponder. Honestly, if it wasn't such a mystery, most would discard it like a Hardy Bro's novel after reading it. There's not much fun continuing to read the same old story when the primary reason for reading is to figure out the Big Mystery.
That's interesting how you describe these things in 3 and 7. 3 particularly emulates the Holy Trinity. Father God, Holy ghost, son (Jesus)= a reflection of a nuclear household. You have the father (God), the nurturing mother (Holy spirit), and the children (Jesus). The more I dig into things and see others present research, like yourself, the more I see a reflection and worldly emulation of the Holy Trinity as a way for our 3D minds to kind of understand what's going on in that aspect, but it also reflects that we as humans were indeed made in God's image and follow the same symbolical patterns in our lives. Because that's the way God intended it to be. It's fascinating and truly amazing!
"As the number Three grows out of the One, likewise the Seven grows out of the Three;
because by a combination of three numbers or letters four complications arise, forming with the original Three the number Seven; and thus there are not merely three, but seven explanations of each symbol. You see, therefore, that the matter is very complicated, and requires deep study. Nor would it benefit you if I were to explain to you all the various meanings of these symbols; for you must learn to realise that you yourself are a symbol. These symbols represent the mysteries of the universe and of man. You are that universe, you are the man, and these things are representing yourself. What good would the explanations do to you if you do not realise that they are true?"
Oh my goodness…I went to bed early last night and this morning I have been working on an insurance claim ….and didn’t sign into GAW until now…and then I see this!

is that enough for ya, or should I keep going?
More sleepdude. More
I love your wisdom.
Alright then, let's expound on Mind.
