Just remember: it's not just you. To some degree, anyone who is awake to what is happening in the world (aka has exited the matrix) has to undergo the inner battle of dealing with and subjugating powerful negative emotions. That's because, overwhelming negative emotions are one of evil's primary weapons against those who understand truth and would fight against evil.
When the negative emotions attack, it's a good strategy to disconnect from the information to some extent, focus on what is around you, on family, friends, community, or nature, on doing concrete things that improve your situation or those around you.
In other words, take your eyes of the macro (the big stage and the larger picture) and focus for some time on the micro (the real world that revolves around you). I've found that approach to be very useful.
Balance between the macro and the micro is key to riding out and traversing the storm.
My personal life is fraught with challenges right now. Family members going through the wringer (many, not all). In toto, it is enough to sink an emotional ship.
So, micro is challenging.
Macro is challenging.
So what to do? EVERY DAY, like Paul, I look for the silver lining in whatever situation I am looking at. I PTL and feel immense gratitude for those who are living life with blessings.
In addition, accepting with no envy in my heart that my family member's journey, or my friend's journey, is different than many. Celebrate the joy of others, even when it provides a sharp contrast to my situation.
Finally, end goal, gratitude for all that is for this IS THE JOURNEY!
Hope that helps someone else who may be going through it in the micro as well as the macro.
God Bless this crazy beautiful period and journey we are all on....
