I totally agree with you, it is degenerate to be overweight. The stats show that the west has a huge problem with obesity. In a lot of countries, what is now considered normal is actually obese.
Our food chain and the way that we look at food has been corrupted severely but it can be corrected.
I'm massively in favour of community allotments and food sharing. If everyone in a community all grew different produce and traded amongst the community it would go a long way to improving health and cut out the toxic supply chain. It's also very economical, great way for relationship building and good for the soul.
