This is not going to be a top down solution. That has been our biggest problem all along and the reason why we are in this mess - because good people did not get involved. All politics are local. Now we are faced with either going along with the tyranny, or taking a stand. There are no other choices. The swamp rats are being ordered by their handlers to double down because there are cracks in their plans and there seems to be things that are getting ready to hit the wall that they are desperately trying to get ahead of. I have heard lots of possible scenarios, but we will only know when it finally hits, which way it will play out.

You are right in that we cannot be the aggressors. We must put forward passive resistance as far as it can be reasonably pushed - and then some. My grandparents and other relatives told stories about the horrors that took place in Russia before the Revolution. It took years for that situation to develop before it finally blew. Luckily my family extricated themselves before it got really ugly and they came to the US. My grandfather always told me - NEVER give them your guns. When the Russian government started confiscating guns, in the interest of public safety, that was when they knew they had to leave. The handwriting was on the wall. Everyone that was left behind did not survive. They were either killed by Stalin, died during the subsequent two world wars, or died in the gulags. Funny that a century after the hell of that time, Russia looks like one of the few sane places left on the planet. How ironic.
