I think the anon's scenario wouldn't be likely mostly because it relies on the idea that "red" state politicians would stand up to an overreaching federal government in the first place. We've had so many indications that is not the case.
“equipment”
Yes, when OP is saying it’s red states vs blue states + feds, I don’t think he’s really talking about the people of those states as much as he’s talking about the government resources. The people will flow to their ideological side like you say, but many civilians won’t get involved. The weirdo leftists you listed above mostly won’t want to fight. Why would they? The collectivist state apparatus pays goons to fight for them.
In OP’s scenario, here’s how I see the teams:
Commies:
Top Brass, so most of the national military branches minus Patriot instant defectors and sleepers who remain imbedded
most of the Deep State
Blue State national guards and police forces, minus many Patriot defectors
some Red State commie defectors
paid cabal goons such as pantyfa and foreign invaders
some of the more physically capable members of cabal’s surveillance network
a small number of civilian volunteers (the only ones not being paid to fight for the commies)
Patriots:
a huge number of civilian volunteers including many military veterans, some very recently
a few white hats in the Deep State
some sleepers in the military
Red State national guards and police forces, minus some commie defectors
many defectors from Blue States
With no outside interference, if Patriot civilian volunteers paired off into teams of two and each team defeated at least one of the commies’ paid killers, then the Patriots would win easily. A currency crisis would also sink the left faster, due to their dependence on paid mercs. With outside interference such as UN/ NATO or China or something, it’s a harder call to make.
If there weren't tons of MAGA candidates winning primaries all over, I'd agree. But that's changing.
