I think we're mostly saying the same thing.

I personally don't think we should be going down this path. Creation is incredibly complex and I don't think we'll ever fully understand it. (BTW this points to an intelligent designer, aka God). And if we don't fully understand it, we'll never be able to safely utilize the technology.

The potential for disaster is huge. By not going down this path we know exactly what to expect: the status quo.
