I think a lot of TV ads are fake

Like car insurance ads. How do they have every insurance company advertising in this zero-sum game of poaching each others customers. Anyone who was inclined to change insurance companies probably already has.

Was just thinking this last night while watching the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Almost every commercial was for insurance.
