It is really about sexual intercourse without consequences as in "I want to have sex without any consequences".

No, a baby is the consequence of the biological meeting of a sperm and an ovum.
But if that sperm and ovum are brought together by sinful (illegitimate or immoral) means, then the baby bears the consequences of that sin, too.
Sexual interaction used in an immoral and unrighteous way for unrighteous intent, is sinful.
Sexual interaction used in a godly and righteous way, for righteous intent, is glorious and a thing to be cherished and celebrated.
To an unrepentant sinner who wants to continue living a life of sin, yes.
Of course, the child is a blessing from God, but they don't see it that way. They see everything backwards and upside down.
