I think you are right about travel. It's one thing to live in another country, but quite another to travel there for a few days. You learn nothing of value, and usually don't meet citizens of the country or get any kind of feel for the culture. The "travellers" are stuck in Disney-like ghettos built for "travellers", so they don't feel like they don't have everything they are used to at home. Am I right??
