Oh get over it, that's only 89.6 degrees Fahrenheit.... I live in the sunny South (Tennessee) and this past week we've had high 90s and almost 100 on Wednesday. I don't think anyone died, and I've kept my garden growing with a lot of water and TLC...in fact I had my first tomato of the season this morning with breakfast and it was delicious.
Yeah, the climate changed alright.... about 12,500 years ago at the end of the last major Ice Age. Must have been all those farting mastodons and saber toothed tigers that caused the glaciers to melt.
I just laugh at these torrid climate change predictions nowadays, they're all full of shit.
Youβre right. 90f is not that hot but residential a/c in uk is rare. But from what Iβm seeing high in london over next 10 days 77f. Pic seems very inaccurate.
Interesting fact, I did not know that. On every trip I've been on to the UK, I've been in air-conditioned hotels, museums, even the fast trains from London to Cardiff to Manchester to Edinburgh. I can't recall a single time I've been uncomfortable in British weather EXCEPT that one day my wife and I were at the castle in Edinburgh where the rain was heavy and nonstop. We've been in Britain several times over the years, but don't know anyone there personally, so we've never been inside an average residence there.
I live in the South and years ago we went to NYC in July. We found it odd how warm it was and how AC wasn't as widespread as the South, and ice water was almost non-existent without asking for it.
Moral of the story is, it's hot in the summer everywhere. I enjoy the AC. My mom was telling me a few days ago how they didn't have AC growing up until she moved out. In the heat of Alabama. It's not fun, but you'll survive.

It's a pic of liberal rage levels.

I'm with you. I live in Western Ky and whew! the heat got sweltering. And like you, me and my family survived it. Amen.
When and where? BBC weather forecast does not show anything like this for the foreseeable.
It just came up in my Google news feed, here's the link to it
https://www.examinerlive.co.uk/news/local-news/uk-hit-32c-summer-scorcher-24321910.amp
It says it will sweep in after the start of the week, it's just the fear porn use of colours they used that they are normalising
Well, someone's got it wrong. Nowt on the Beeb or Accu Weather forecasts
Got family in Halifax, Yorkshire. My phone says high over next 10 days is 68f. Lol
Lol not the end of the world scenario they're predicting

Take no notice, us Brits love to complain about the weather. Its too hot, its too cold, its too wet, its too dry, this weather is lovely!
If anyone remembers what the brit weather was like in 1976?
