Just a heads up, because there seems to be a bit of confusion here.
This article is about the Satanic Temple. Not the Church of Satan. They are two extremely different things.
The Satanic Temple does not believe in the Satan of the Christian Bible. They're mostly atheists who are adamant about keeping church and state separated so they got themselves registered as a legitimate religion so they could make their points protesting. For instance, if a school allows students to lead the school in prayers (over intercom, at pep rallies, etc.. the Satanic Temple will show up demanding equal opportunity to lead students in prayer. Their "Satan" is what they call their own sense of self or something, I forget exactly what. But they don't believe in the same Satan of the Bible.
The Church of Satan does believe in the Christian Satan, think. But they have nothing to do with the Satanic Temple.
