God gave us free will. Judgment is God’s job.
Two consenting adults can live as they choose, as long as they aren’t hurting others or imposing their will on others.
And God also gave us commandments. Would you willingly let your brother die a sinners death? Or would you do everything you can to help them? A Christian has a job. Not many of us are good at it. I include myself here. But I try. And I will not sit idly by and let my brother or sister die a sinners death and me not even try and help them.
I understand where you’re coming from. Sometimes, though, we’re so focused on how others are sinning, that we fail to work on our own walk with God.
Facing my own sins is a full-time job, and I try not to impose my will on others.
But then again, I’m an original Ron Paul republican, and I believe in minding my own business in most situations.
Agreed. But as I said, we have God’s commandments. And if you love your brother, as Jesus commanded to love one another as He has loved you, then we must try to keep them from a sinners hell, as Jesus did. If you knew tomorrow, that Jesus was returning (the second coming) what would you do today to save those who may not be ready? You should be doing everything possible, to save as many as possible. Jesus Christ was our example. And we all fall short of our savior. But we must try. I personally fail here...but I do try when I see I can help. Lord knows I do care.
