Complete speculation on my part. The people who “chose” to cooperate with the Unselect Committee might be in the possession of “get out of jail free cards” to protect them from lying to Congress charges. Her lies were so blatant, she has to be protected. The question is by which side?

Yes. Why would anyone tell such stupid lies to a select cmte when the DOJ is invading people's homes and arresting folks like Navarro? Trump called it out as an illegitimate cmte. Can you be prosecuted for lying to an unselect cmte? Same applies to other Trump associate testimony.
